🆘 Common Error Codes & Fixes

  • Cause: You have moved the plugin to a new server or changed your hardware.

  • Fix: Licenses are locked to a single hardware ID for security. Please join our [Discord] and open a ticket with your transaction ID to request an HWID Reset. {% endhint %}

  • Cause: Your server IP is not whitelisted, or your credentials are incorrect.

  • Fix: 1. Go to MongoDB Atlas > Network Access. 2. Ensure your server's IP (or 0.0.0.0/0) is added. 3. Double-check that your password doesn't contain un-encoded special characters like @ or :. {% endhint %}

  • Cause: The GUI title in your config.yml exceeds 32 characters.

  • Fix: Shorten the gui.main_menu.title string. Legacy Minecraft (1.8.8) cannot handle titles longer than 32 characters. {% endhint %}

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I use this on a BungeeCord/Velocity network?

A: Yes! Since Tyche uses MongoDB, you can connect multiple servers (Survival, Skyblock, Factions) to the same database. This allows player stats and collection bins to stay synced across your entire network.

Q: Is it safe to use custom "God Items" or NBT items?

A: Absolutely. Tyche clones the exact ItemStack data. This includes custom names, lore, enchantments, and hidden NBT tags. What the creator puts in is exactly what the winner gets out.

Q: What happens if the server crashes during an active flip?

A: Tyche is built for stability. If a server crashes, the items are stored in the active flip data. Upon restart, the plugin will detect the unfinished flip and, depending on the stage, either return the items to the creators' Collection Bins or complete the roll.

Q: I found a bug. Where do I report it?

A: We take bugs seriously. Please do not report bugs in the BuiltByBit review section. Instead, open a Bug Report ticket in our Discord so we can get a fix out to you immediately.

🛠️ Diagnostic Steps

If the plugin isn't loading and you don't see an error:

  1. Check Java Version: Run java -version. Tyche requires Java 11+.

  2. Check Internet: Since we use an external licensing API, your server must be able to reach skiron.dev.

  3. Check Dependencies: Ensure you aren't running other plugins that use the /flip or /cf commands. If you are, you may need to change the aliases in your commands.yml.
